Led Zeppelin 2 visits Denver in October

More Just Announced
There are plenty of Led Zeppelin tribute bands in the world, and most have punny names like Led Zepagain, Led Zepplica, or the all-girl tribute Lez Zeppelin. Among the masses of would-be Zeps, Led Zeppelin 2 stands out from the rest, if only because lead singer Bruce Lamont also fronts a band that plays progressive doom metal (with saxophone!) called Yakuza.
Purists say no tribute act can hold a candle to its original inspiration, and while that may be true, why not get the Led out any way you can with the chances of a Led Zeppelin reunion tour steadily dwindling? The real Zep Heads will appreciate that LZ2 is known for playing deep cuts from the Zeppelin catalog rather than a “greatest hits” show. So, you could hear “Moby Dick” or “How Many More Times” alongside the tried-and-true classics from Led Zeppelin IV (because damn it, “Black Dog” is still epic). See for yourself Oct. 14 when the group hits the Gothic Theatre. If the show is so good that you need a second hit, make the (relatively) short trip up to Aspen to see the band again the next night, when LZ2 brings the Zep magic to the Belly Up.
