Maybe it's just us, but Kelly Clarkson headlining this year's revamped Lilith Fair (coming to Colorado July 13 at the Comfort Dental Amphitheatre) seems kind of odd. Don't get us wrong; Clarkson is the best thing to come from all 37 seasons of American Idol. But for a festival that originally featured artists like Tracy Bonham and Erykah Badu (who will also perform this year in select cities), Clarkson seems, dare we say, a little too poppy? Then again, Selena Gomez is also playing a handful of Lilith dates—and frankly, the Disney pleaser's sugar smile and apple cheeks make Kelly Clarkson look like Lydia Lunch.
