Mile High Music Festival announces full lineup
Dave Matthews Band
Pencil us in for August: Mile High Music Festival, slated for Aug. 14-15 on the fields at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, just announced this year’s full lineup, including headliners Dave Matthews Band and Jack Johnson. The dorm-room rock double-bill feels a lot more cohesive than last year’s jumble of Widespread Panic and Tool—not that variety is a bad thing. This year’s festival still keeps it pretty motley, from the sugary emo-pop of Weezer to the country-rock jam-outs of My Morning Jacket to the highly touted hip-hop/reggae mash-up between Nas and Damien Marley. As they do every year, the folks behind Mile High Music have promised this festival to be bigger and better than the last, and we’re not arguing.
Tickets go on sale this Saturday through TicketHorse; prices start at $150 for early-bird two-day passes and go up from there as the festival gets closer (no single day passes will be sold). VIP entry, hotel packages, and layaway options are also available at the festival website. Full lineup below.
