Remember when the very idea of a My Bloody Valentine concert was one of those things you'd laugh about with your friends, because the possibility of Kevin Shields finally getting off his ass and plugging in his 25 delay pedals was as likely as, say, Leonard Cohen or Michael Jackson hitting the road again? Well obviously 2009 is a year for miracles, because news has quietly leaked via Pitchfork that MBV is indeed kicking off a U.S. mini-tour around its upcoming Coachella headlining gig, and it just so happens to include a stop at the Fillmore Auditorium on April 24. Tickets got on sale Saturday. Watch out for locusts, plagues of frogs, and angels playing Miles Davis, because the end of the world surely must be nigh.
