Last month, the Mayan brought the in-depth Pearl Jam documentary, Pearl Jam 20, in for an ultra-limited, one-night, two-showing stand. Naturally, considering the band’s massive popularity over multiple decades, both of those screenings sold out quickly, leaving plenty of people without a glimpse of director Cameron Crowe’s extensive exploration of the band’s history. Now the time has come to make that right, with a special encore showing of Pearl Jam 20 next Tuesday, Oct. 11 at the Mayan. Note that this is also a one-night stand, and there’s only a single showing, so if you’ve been dying to see the film, don’t fuck around—go buy a ticket now, lest you be left out in the cold, quietly humming “Evenflow” to yourself while you cry tears of remorse and wonder forlornly what Eddie Vedder really thinks of his band’s legacy.
