Pictureplane drops mix for Actual Pain

Pictureplane, Travis Egedy, Actual pain Pictureplane shows off some sweet Actual Pain gear

While working his way around this great nation of ours on tour, Travis Egedy (a.k.a. Pictureplane) kept himself busy. For example, while in Seattle, he stopped by Actual Pain—which seems to be a Rhinoceropolis-style DIY venue that runs a blog and digs the kind of witch-housey/grunge-ravey stuff that Egedy is so good at—and did a mix and a photo shoot. Fun! The photos mostly just show Egedy and his tourmates, Hollagramz, standing around and sporting Actual Pain gear. The mix is a typically eclectic blend of the sort you’d expect to hear from Egedy if you’d been following him for any length of time: noisy dance music, warped hip-hop, and other stuff from the fringe. The mix is short, clocking in at about 15 minutes, and Actual Pain’s idiosyncratic site setup prevents direct linking to the post. But the mix is free, and the post is right at the top of the site at the moment, so it’s hard to complain. Go have a look and listen.
