Remember Big Head Todd? Dude has a new album
Before 3OH!3 and The Fray, it was Big Head Todd And The Monsters that put Colorado on the national music radar, with 1993’s Sister Sweetly selling more than a million copies in the States. (In 3OH!3 parlance, that’s “streets of platinum.”) Six studio albums and 17 years later, singer-guitarist Todd Park Mohr and the Monsters are still hot-shit enough to make the release party for their upcoming Rocksteady (due in stores July 20) an invite-only event, though not a very exclusive one: If 97.3 KBCO plays your requested set, you and a Big Head-loving buddy are on the list for this Friday’s show at Herman’s Hideaway. Your 1994 self would be totally jealous.
