Rock N Soul Cafe reaches out for community support
Article Tools
Boulder’s Rock N Soul Cafe has been hosting live music for the past five years, and hopes to continue bringing the community together for five more. While owners Sheryl and Sam Radetsky have an unmatched desire to keep the modest space open, the economic downturn has put a damper on the space's future, as the end of its lease nears and the cafe’s fate remains uncertain. This past May the couple reached out to musicians in the community and started Love.Care.Share, a live music series to benefit the venue. A barrage of local acts responded, and the latest in this fundraising effort happens tomorrow night with The Mighty Planktones performing covers of The Clash, The B-52s, The Beatles, and more. Tickets are $10 and all proceeds go directly to Rock N Soul.
