More Just Announced
It’s ramping up to be a hot summer—or rather a lukewarm, geriatric one going by today’s concert announcements.
This year’s Mayhem Festival—with headliners Godsmack, Disturbed, and Megadeth—has been scheduled for July 17 at the Comfort Dental Amphitheatre. Also that month, in keeping with extreme guitar solos, Ted Nugent will be at the Ogden Theatre on July 12. And way on the other end of the spectrum (and the other side of the state), an acoustic evening with Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt has been announced for June 16 at the Riverwalk Center in Breckenridge. The parade of veterans continues through the season with the Goo Goo Dolls Aug. 17 at the 1stBank Center.
At least there’s Wiz Khalifa June 18, also at 1stBank—it’s good to see some young blood in the mix.
