According to AP, the 56-year-old star of A&E's reality show, Dog The Bounty Hunter—who, it should be noted, was armed only with a paintball gun—was fired upon by the man he was chasing, Hoang Nguyen, a bail-jumper who'd been charged with attempted murder.
