Star Wars dorks, rejoice!
More Just Announced
Picture this: A three-story LED screen ablaze with only the most action-packed moments of every Star Wars film ever made. Add a full symphony orchestra and choir performing John Williams' signature score to the blinding visuals, and it’s like getting the best parts of each movie without the boring and tedious storyline. Oh, and did we mention the whole she-bang is being hosted by none other than full-metal smarty-pants himself, Anthony Daniels, a.k.a C-3PO? "Star Wars: In Concert" is going down Oct. 18 at the Pepsi Center, and what better place to gather nerds both young and old than at that holy dome of sporting excess? Plus, there's one more reason to celebrate: The Pepsi Center recently dropped Ticketmaster as its ticket provider, opting instead for its own in-house ticketing company, TicketHorse. It's the second major venue this year to break free of Ticketmaster's wallet-abusing service fees, er, convenience charges. We can only hope that with a name like TicketHorse, the company will uphold a little of that Colorado cowboy kindness.
