Sublime is back, but now with added Rome!
A pre-Rome Sublime.
More Just Announced
We have three words for you: Sublime With Rome. Yes, the early '90s bro-ska three-piece that influenced a generation of college dudes to smoke more weed, drink more beer, and write songs about surfing and sex is back—stopping by Denver April 26 at the Fillmore Auditorium—with a new name reflecting its new singer (and to clear up some legal disputes over the Sublime moniker). It was only a matter of time before Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson revamped the group that spawned cover bands galore, not to mention a whole new genre of weed enthusiastic bands. (Slightly Stoopid, anyone?) In the footsteps of Journey and Alice In Chains, the band formerly known as Sublime has re-emerged with deceased singer Bradly Nowell's vocal twin, and by all accounts, 21-year-old Rome Ramirez is pretty close to the real thing. Regardless, Sublime fans are probably down with any dude who can belt out "Badfish" and not ruin their high.
