Just Announced Suburban Home and Denver Beer Co. launch Sunday Afternoon Concert Series

Suburban Home, Denver Beer Company, free concerts Matt Schild Chad Price knows a thing or two about playing brewery

Believe it or not, there are plenty of people in Denver who don’t plan to spend the next several Sunday afternoons drinking beer and indulging in Tebowmania. If you’re one of that silent majority, Suburban Home and the Denver Brewing Co. have an alternative for you: Spend your next several Sunday afternoons drinking beer and indulging in free concerts.

The Denver-based label has teamed with one of Denver’s newer microbreweries to present a series of five free concerts showcasing roots-based acts each Sunday between Oct. 16 and Nov. 13. The concerts are slated to kick off at 2 p.m. and wrap up around 6 p.m., and feature three sets by each artist. On tap are a couple acts from the Suburban Home roster, Lizzie Huffman and Chad Price (who’s certainly no stranger to playing in local breweries), as well as local acts Owen Kortz and The Kentucky Street Parlor Pickers. Better yet, because the concerts start on the Broncos bye week, even the most diehard Tebow fanatic can enjoy an afternoon of craft beer and tunes without missing a snap.

The Sunday Afternoon Concert Series’ schedule is:

Oct. 16 — Lizzie Huffman
Oct. 23 — Owen Kortz
Oct. 30 — Kyle James Hauser
Nov. 6 — Chad Price
Nov. 13 — Kentucky Street Parlor Pickers
