Tequila Mockingbird album release at Toad Tavern
Poppy barroom rockers Tequila Mockingbird will be celebrating the release of its latest record, Luck And Trouble, tonight at Toad Tavern, marking the third full-length for the local group. The self-proclaimed “genre-bending” band formed in 1996 after vocalist Wendy Clark was inspired to by a Gin Blossoms/Refreshments concert. Maybe Tequila Mockingbird will cover the King Of The Hill theme? That’s the one Refreshments song we really like.
