The Gamits announce a reunion show for August

Some old-school Denver music fan must have inked a deal with the devil: “In exchange for my immortal soul, just get the Warlock Pinchers and The Gamits reunited onstage this summer. Okay, Satan?” Lucifer, being the tricksy bastard he is, kept up his end of the bargain, and it was just announced that The Gamits are scheduled to play their first show in five years Aug. 6 at the Bluebird Theater, supported by The Fire Drills and Throwaway Sunshine. That also happens to be the same night the Warlock Pinchers are playing their first show in 18 years at the Gothic. Way to exploit a loophole, Satan. If it’s any consolation, the Pinchers are also set to play Aug. 7, too. If you’re considering trading eternal damnation for a Hot IQs reunion show, you might want to hold off until autumn to avoid any more demonic scheduling conflicts, okay?
