Denver, try not to develop a complex over this, but yet another performer has canceled his date with you. This time, it's Kevin Smith. Sure, you could sit around your apartment in sweatpants, eating ice cream and feeling sorry for yourself because the filmmaker backed out of his upcoming show Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Fillmore Auditorium; or you could take a moment and realize that it's not you, it's him. God knows there have been a lot of recent disappointing cancellations—Queen Latifah being the latest—but you're a great town, and someday you'll find an entertainer responsible enough to treat you like the beautiful and intelligent Queen City of the Plains you are. In the meantime, maybe you should consider creating that eHarmony profile all your girlfriends at the office swear would do wonders for you. I mean, you are one super-photogenic city.
