Tool's Maynard James Keenan at... Whole Foods?
Maynard James Keenan and Eric Glomski
More Just Announced
This is no joke: Tool/A Perfect Circle frontman Maynard James Keenan makes wine, and he's been personally showing up at Whole Foods stores nationwide to sell it. Okay, so the whole idea may be a bit hard to swallow (seriously, this is one step away from when B-grade celebrities end up on late-night infomercials pushing useless household products). But, hey, even rock stars need hobbies—and Keenan, better known for penning songs about child abuse and drug experiences, apparently spends his free time cultivating grapes. Who knew? Look out for the notoriously media-shy Keenan, along with his vineyard partner Eric Glomski, February 26 and 27 at the East Hampden Whole Foods location, where the pair will be doing a bottle signing for their line of Arizona Stronghold wines. Remember, kids: Even hard rockers aren't immune to the pitfalls of middle-age boredom.
