Wentworth Kersey gives away new CD

Even if Wentworth Kersey weren't a supergroup—the Denver duo comprises George & Caplin's Jeffrey Wentworth Stevens and Bad Weather California's Joe Sampson—it'd still be damn super. Wentworth Kersey's debut EP from last year is a haunting, atmospheric mix of acoustic songcraft and subliminal electronics, and the twosome will be following it up with a second self-titled EP in mid-May. The kicker? In lieu of a traditional release show, the group is giving away the new EP with the purchase of coffee at Denver's venerable St. Mark's. That's right: Starting Sunday, May 17, just plunk down a couple bucks for a cup of joe, and you will be handed a sparkly new Wentworth Kersey CD.
