The Big Pink and Crystal Antlers at Larimer Lounge

Despite having released only one full-length, this year's A Brief History Of Love, London's The Big Pink is already awash in critical praise. Lauded by critics and recently signed by the legendary British label 4AD, The Big Pink comprises multi-instrumentalists Milo Cordell and Robbie Furze, and is a natural extension of each man's extensive musical background. Cordell operates his own record label, responsible for releases by several other notable buzz bands such as Crystal Castles and Klaxons, and Furze played guitar with British noise outfit Alec Empire before teaming up with Cordell to release the band's self-produced first single, "Too Young To Love." Long Beach experimental noise band Crystal Antlers were fan favorites on 2008's Fuck Yeah Tour alongside Dan Deacon and Matt & Kim. Their debut album, Tentacles, recorded with Mars Volta producer Ikie Owens, was released earlier this year on Touch & Go Records.
