Washington, whose low-key comic observations—and yes, occasional ivory-tickling—thankfully never devolve into slapstick or groan-worthy political puns. Washington (a former Houston police officer) has appeared on VH1 and as an opener for Aretha Franklin, frequently tours alongside pal Christopher “Kid” Reid (of Kid ’N Play), and recently completed work on his first film, Bob: The Urban Legend Of Comedy
