Caspa, Trolley Snatcha, Subscape, and D12 at Beta

Caspa, a.k.a Gary McCann, calls himself “the dopest ghost in town.” That town is West London, where the dubstep music producer and DJ has made a name for himself running three different record labels. In recent years he’s remixed singles for artists from disparate genres of music, including Deadmau5, Miike Snow, Depeche Mode, and Kid Sister. Along with label-mate Rusko, Caspa mixed the first dubstep edition of the legendary Fabriclive Mix Series in 2007. He followed in 2009 with his own full-length album, Everybody’s Talking, Nobody’s Listening, and spent most of the remaining months touring relentlessly, including an appearance at Glastonbury. Caspa snagged attention stateside for his 2010 remix of Ludacris’ “How Low Can You Go,” an austere treatment that shows Caspa may not remain underground for much longer.
