Christopher Titus at Comedy Works (Greenwood Village)

During the three-season run of the TV show based on his life, Christopher Titus made it clear that he likes fast cars, has a crazy dad, and is always sitting around in dark rooms lit by bare light bulbs. In real life, Titus' edgy, dark sense of humor extends far beyond the limits of the contrived sitcom's walls, even if the show was based closely on his own life. The comedian's favorite topics include rape, suicide, violence, insanity, and abuse—and that's just when he's talking about his family. Becoming a stand-up comedian at the tender age of 18, Titus brings all that baggage (and more!) to the stage. With a successful album, 2008's Norman Rockwell Is Bleeding, and a new Comedy Central special, Love Is Evol, Titus has made a career out of laughing at the shocking, the tragic, and the bizarre.
