Citay, Blue Skies For Black Hearts, and Vitamins at Hi-Dive
Citay was born out of a studio collaboration between Fucking Champs guitarist Tim Green and Piano Magic member Ezra Feinberg, but soon proved too big for the one room, and eventually grew into a stage show with a rotating cast of musicians. The San Francisco group’s pseudo-’70s acoustic/electric instrumentation blends xylophones with plenty of pedal-effected guitars, all complemented by male and female harmonies. Green has since left the band, but Citay has continued on: It released its third record, Dream Get Together, earlier this year.
