The Cranberries and Griffin House at Gothic Theatre
Irish alt-rockers The Cranberries had a few solid hits throughout the early ’90s (“Linger” and “Zombie,” to name the two biggest), and then subsequently spent the latter half of the decade releasing commercial duds and denying break-up rumors, most centering on the presumption that vocalist Dolores O’Riordan wanted to go solo. The act eventually did disband in 2003, and four years later O’Riordan released her long-awaited solo debut, Are You Listening? She followed up with this year’s No Baggage, which was quickly overshadowed by the announcement of an official Cranberries reunion tour in support of it. Here, expect classic tunes, as well as a few solo tracks from O’Riordan and possibly even some new yet-to-be-released Cranberries material.
