Eye Alaska, The Shake Up Brigade, All Capitals, and Goodbye To Farewells at Marquis Theater
Following in the footsteps of fellow cinematic rockers Angels & Airwaves, Orange County’s Eye Alaska is big on drama. The band creates a layered sound awash with heavy vocal effects and windy guitar gestures. An earlier version of the group existed as Dead Letter Diaries; singer Brando Wronski and guitarist Cameron Trowbridge later got all grandiose with synthesizers and decided to forge ahead under the new moniker Eye Alaska, debuting with last year’s full-length Genesis Underground.
