Film On The Rocks: The Lost Boys at Red Rocks Amphitheatre

The passage of years does strange things to a film. Upon its release in 1987, director Joel Schumacher’s The Lost Boys was a modest summer hit. But it has endured in the consciousness for so long, they went and made The Lost Boys 2: The Tribe, more than 20 years later. Starring Coreys Haim and Feldman and a platinum-blonde Kiefer Sutherland, the original film focuses on two brothers (Haim and Jason Patric) who move to Southern California and are soon made unwelcome by a gang of teen vampires. The film is arguably one of Joel Schumacher’s only good projects as a director and also one of the only really good vampire films.
