L.A. Guns, Kill City Bombers, and Angels And Bullets at Bender's Tavern
For several years now, in one of the biggest “who cares?” feuds since Mrs. Garrett from The Facts Of Life called Joan Collins a bitch, there have been two different ver-sions of glam-metal band L.A. Guns squabbling about who gets the right to the band’s moniker and all the lucrative state-fair money that comes with it. One camp was headed by original lead singer Paul Black (whose stint in the band predated its albums; Black has since been replaced by Love/Hate singer Jizzy Pearl) and features guitarist Tracii Guns; the other stars the band’s other lead singer Phil Lewis (who sang on all the group’s ’80s hits). This show will feature Guns’ lineup—although the dirty hard rock will probably sound pretty damn similar no matter which you catch.
