LoveHateHero, Defending The Pilot, and Ten To None at Marquis Theater
Los Angeles’ LoveHateHero isn’t breaking any new ground with its contribution to the post-hardcore empire; the band’s screamo tendencies run similar to tourmates Chiodos, Funeral For A Friend, and Dance Gavin Dance. But the act gets points for perseverance: After the exodus of three members following its 2005 debut, Just Breathe, vocalist Pierrick Berube and bassist Paris Bosserman wasted no time, immediately picking up three replacements and heading out on tour. LoveHateHero has released two more records, 2007’s White Lies and 2009’s America Underwater, both displaying much of the same metal sliced with melody from Just Breathe.
