Miike Snow at Bluebird Theater
Miike Snow is a Swedish band that makes experimental pop, which to say the outfit writes hook-laden songs and then promptly deconstructs them. Some of the tracks from Miike Snow’s self-titled debut, released earlier this year, sound straight from the discotheque, but many others fracture into something far more ambient and unsettling. Those left turns might unnerve, but they also create a rich palette for remixes from top-notch producers like Mark Ronson.
