Ten Out Of Tenn at Bluebird Theater
The Ten Out Of Tenn project is many things—a package tour, a compilation disc—but, at its core, it is a musical collective, a banding of burgeoning Nashville-based singer-songwriters. Founded by Kristen and Trent Dabbs (Trent’s own solo work has infiltrated The OC, The Hills, and Grey’s Anatomy), the 10 Tennesseans currently comprise noted Americana newcomers such as Butterfly Boucher, Tyler James, and Erin McCarley. The mixed cast has also produced a documentary, showcased at SXSW, and even released a 2008 Christmas album. The Ten live show is just as varied: The members play their own short sets, as well as collaborate onstage with one another, swapping instruments and vocals.
