Vans Warped Tour at Invesco Field at Mile High
The Warped Tour is arduous for everyone involved: the bands, who slog through its punishing schedule; the staff, who supervise the tour’s heavily orchestrated daily regimen; and the fans, who are bombarded with crap, both musically and from vendors hocking their wares. Believe it or not, Warped trudges through its 15th anniversary this year, which means that many of those who went to the first round are in their early 30s and probably long since over groups like Deftones and Face To Face. Thankfully there’s always a new free-spending demographic of teens to profit from, and this year they’ll have to sit politely through “old dudes” like NOFX and Bad Religion to get to modern upstarts like 3OH!3 and Chiodos.
