Indianapolis is the newest member of The A.V. Club’s empire, so let’s party

In the dead of night (or, rather, late afternoon yesterday), the switch was flipped and life has been given to The A.V. Club in Indianapolis. Tomorrow, the first print issue of The Onion and The A.V. Club will hit the streets of Indianapolis and its surrounding metro area. Of course, the city has other pressing matters taking up most of its attention right now, so this also seems like a great time to party in honor of the launch. Tomorrow night, Feb.2, we’re throwing a party with our friends from Flat 12 Bierwerks at 10-01 Food & Drink (1001 Broad Ripple Ave.). The fun starts at 6 p.m. with the Flat 12 crew members tapping their new Nunmoere Black Barrel-Aged beer, and there will be music from Sam King at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased here.
Just for fun, we’ve added a map of places in downtown Indianapolis where you can find print issues on stands tomorrow—but issues will also be available at locations throughout the metro area including Geist, Castleton, Carmel and Carmel-West, Greenwood, Fishers, Broad Ripple, and Plainfield.
