Every now and then, we like to scour the shadowy depths of Craigslist to find four thematically linked Missed Connections to battle in a court of public opinion. Who says romance is dead?

Between the crushing crowds downtown, freely flowing liquor, and a cloud of sports-driven testosterone hovering above the city, it seems many of the big game’s passes occurred away from Lucas Oil Stadium in the shadows surrounding Super Bowl Village. And, as is frequent in life, people left regretful and thinking that perhaps they should have gone for it. So they turn to Craigslist in hopes of another chance at scoring:

Hottie downtown friday night wearing colts jersey - m4w - 34 (Indianapolis)

Me: Mega hot guy you were too shy to talk to.
You know who you are hit me up. I want to take you to see Star Wars in 3D and drink alcohol.

Thoughts: A bit vague and vain, don’t you think? Still, at least he has a plan.

Lost Camera at SBV at LMAFO (sic) Concert - w4w (Indianapolis)

Dear College Aged Woman who lost your camera....You and your friends were searching for your camera between the Tilted Kilt and Howl at the Moon on Friday, Feb 3 right before the LMFAO concert. You guys asked my group if we’d seen it...we hadn’t until an hour later when someone in our party spotted it. I have your camera......if you can contact me and tell me what color your camera is, what make, and what university location the majority of your pics are taken at.....we’ll arrange getting it back to you. Cheers.

Thoughts: Hmmm, a camera lost at the “LMAFO” concert. How many dick-pics do you think she has?

OAR concert - m4w - 25 (Super Bowl Village)

Shot in the dark here but might as well give it a try. We were basically front-row center and were ecstatic about how we had pretty much the best view possible. Behind us were some baseball players from Butler and a bunch of people from Wisconsin. I was the tall-ish guy in the blue hoodie who came up from Louisville for the concert. We were also near the girl who was kicked in the head by a crowd-surfer that Marc pointed out, and also the guy whose glasses were broken (who knew an OAR show could be so violent? Haha.) Anyway, I had a great time talking with you at the show and I thought you were absolutely gorgeous. Sadly, I never caught your full name and we got separated before we could exchange contact info. If by chance you see this and want to get in touch, please do.

Thoughts: Great attention to detail—what an impressive memory this dude has! Obviously he wasn’t drinking or he’s a stalker; at least consider the possibility of a designated driver.

Beautiful Blonde sitting behind me at the Superbowl - m4w - 34 (Lucas Oil)

You were absolutely gorgeous. I wanted to tell you that before you left. Not sure if that was your boyfriend at the start of the game, but you were amazing. You were a Giants fan and said your Dad was from NY. I was in front of you. If somehow you see this would love to hear from you.

Thoughts: If she was so gorgers, why did you just talk about her dad?

Who most deserves to find their missed connection? Rate them on a scale of 1 (aww) to 4 (restraining order). Love’s at stake, you guys!
