HOLIDAY SALE AT THE ONION STORE

Just Announced Abe Vigoda to lei Project Lodge with sunny sonics on March 24

More Just Announced

March is kind of hit or miss around these parts as far as weather goes, so any reason to bust out the Hawaiian attire is a good one. And there will be no more fitting occasion than when the tropical punks from Abe Vigoda pelt the Project Lodge with their reverberated sonic pineapples on March 24. The Los Angeles-based quartet is swinging through these cooler climes on an off-date during their spring tour with Vampire Weekend. A new tune titled “Crush” was recently added to the band’s MySpace page, and it sounds like the slanted rhythms and chiming guitars are pointing more towards the grittier punk territory found on 2006’s Kid City. Atlanta’s indie-rockers Gringo Star will open with a set of pop-rock to round out the bill. The A.V. Club is still waiting for confirmation on the show time, and we’ll update this post as soon as we have it.

UPDATE: The showtime and ticket price can be found here.
