A.V. Club announces Listening Party with Stink Tank and Dick The Bruiser
Celebrate local music Jan. 29 at the High Noon Saloon
If you're a regular Decider reader, you might recall that last month we posted a big streaming mixtape commemorating some good local music from 2008. We're pleased and generally jolly to announce that two of the bands included—local post-punk duo Dick The Bruiser and local rap project Stink Tank—will play at Decider's Madison Music Mixtape Listening Party on Thursday, Jan. 29 at the High Noon Saloon at 6 p.m. There's no cover, and we'll be playing selections from the mixtape (among other things) before and between the bands. Last year's Listening Party (featuring The Runners-Up and Patchwork) turned out to be a very good time, and we're expecting the same this time around.
