Bloodshot Records announces free show at High Noon Saloon on August 22

Today Chicago’s Bloodshot Records announced the lineup for its August 22 stop of the Bloodshot BBQ tour at High Noon Saloon, and it’s a formidable one: Justin Townes Earle, Bottle Rockets, Bobby Bare Jr., Waco Brothers, Deadstring Brothers, and Deano. If that’s not enough, the show is free. Yes, free. We’re still not quite sure we believe it, but it’s right there on Bloodshot's website, so it must be true.
The Bloodshot BBQ tour is an anniversary celebration for the label and Rolling Rock—it's Bloodshot’s 15th, and Rolling Rock’s 70th. We’ll update this post with more specifics as we have them, but we’re thinking there's a pretty good chance there'll be some slow-cooked meats and drink specials involved with this shindig.
