Gallagher and his sledge to spray the Majestic Theatre
As much as we'd love to see Madison's venues bringing in more comedians on the level of Louis CK to knock us on our asses, we also understand that sometimes America just needs a cranky motherfucker to get up there and smash some fruit. Nine times out of 10, that guy is none other than Gallagher, who does indulge a bit in actual stand-up comedy, but has mostly made his name by sledgehammering watermelons into oblivion. We're betting Madison comedy fans will get plenty of spew for their buck when the man himself and his Sledge-O-Matic play the Majestic Theatre on October 15. It's a great excuse to get under a plastic sheet with that special someone, and all evidence suggests that Gallagher is just as pissed at helpless food objects as he's ever been:
