Grant Hart to play The Frequency on March 6
Some of us who went out to the first Forward Music Festival in 2008 got to see former Hüsker Dü frontman Bob Mould play a great set at the Majestic Theatre, setting up his own gear and everything. We'll finally get our chance to catch up with the legendary punk band's other songwriting talent on March 6, when former drummer Grant Hart plays at The Frequency. Hart returned to making solo albums with last year's Hot Wax, and, like Mould, is perfectly capable of pulling off a good show with a guitar and not much more. For reasons he explained in a recent interview with The A.V. Club's Twin Cities site, Hart likes to keep it simple on tour and take time between albums.
