Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor to release album, tour as CANT
Anyone counting the days until Grizzly Bear follows up 2009’s excellent Veckatimest—or at least for Michael McDonald to rerecord the vocals on the rest of the album’s tracks—can sate themselves a bit when bass player/vocalist Chris Taylor hits the road later this year as CANT. Taylor is planning on releasing his solo album, Dreams Come True, on Sept. 13 on his own label, Terrible Records, and is celebrating by hitting the road with a full band. The spacious CANT song “Ghosts” doesn’t sound too far off from the work Taylor has done with Grizzly Bear, so hopefully the album and the tour will fill the time while we wait for the others to finish that album.
