Insurance.com ranks Madison as the 16th most dangerous city for drivers
Shaking fists toward the sky and shouting, “What hath God wrought?” should be the default driving stance for Madison. Negotiating all the one-ways, twists, and turns near the capital (along with dodging bicycles) gets seasoned and green Madison drivers alike all red in the face. So, file this one under “duh”: NBC 15 reported a recent survey by Insurance.com ranking Madison as the 16th most dangerous city for drivers (based on drivers who have claimed an accident), with Baltimore topping the list. To be fair, the company did not include cities in Alaska, Hawaii, Massachusetts, or New York (Boston and New York City probably would have bumped Madison down a couple pegs), but fans of The Wire can probably attest to Charm City being a pretty fucked-up place to drive.
