Jered Tanner 4 President, Xavier Rudd, and more
Jered Tanner 4 President is the real name of his band.
More Just Announced
Anyone who ever watched Scooby Doo growing up has probably dreamt of ripping someone’s mask off and exposing him for who he truly is. The touring production of The Lion King features a lot of masks (more like fancy helmets) and therefore generates a lot of fascination about the actors behind them. Well, it turns out when the mask and make-up is removed from the company’s standby Timon, Pumbaa, and Zazu, a super-sensitive singer-songwriter named Jered Tanner is unveiled, just waiting to lull the crowd with his ultra-light folk. True to his sensitive side, Jered Tanner 4 President (Tanner’s band) will be hosting a charity event in the Overture Center Rotunda after The Lion King performance on May 16, with the proceeds going towards the Lion In The Library program, which brings Lion King actors into schools to perform children’s books. Sounds nice, but The A.V. Club is a little confused as to why the actors are raising funds for something they plan to do themselves?
