Justin Vernon (a.k.a. Bon Iver) to appear on Kanye West's upcoming album
Turns out that Kanye West and Justin Vernon (a.k.a. Bon Iver) have a lot in common. As Rolling Stone recently reported, the two became good buddies, shooting hoops and whatnot, in Hawaii when West flew fellow Auto-Tune-aficionado Vernon out to rerecord his vocals from “Woods”—from the Blood Bank EP—for a track called “Lost In The World” on West’s upcoming, sadly no-longer-titled Good Ass Job album. West said, “He's similar to me, like where he just does shit just so people would be like, 'Oh shit how did you do that? How did that happen?’” Two guys, both of whom do shit? Sounds like a perfect fit.
