Louis C.K. at the Overture Center
We’ve long been fans of Louis C.K. here at The A.V. Club—not only is he one of the best (if not the best) stand-up comics working today, the man wrote and directed Pootie Tang. That gets you on the magical list of awesomeness as far as we’re concerned. While C.K. just launched the new critically acclaimed FX sitcom Louie, which draws on his experiences as a recently divorced father, he hasn’t left his stand-up roots behind: C.K. returns to Madison Sept. 19 for a show at Capitol Theater at the Overture Center. Tickets go on sale July 14 for $32.50 and if he's nearly as great as last time, this will be well worth the dough.
