Local Newswire Not-so-casual-encounters: Wisconsin sisters allegedly sexually assault man with pliers, force him to drink urine

We don’t usually report on “weird” and “bizarre” crimes, but when a story involves an ill-fated threesome, a smattering of forced urine-drinking, and plenty of pliers-on-penis action, we wince and take notice. According to the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram, two sisters from Somerset, Wisconsin have each been charged with a felony count of second-degree sexual assault by force after allegedly sexually assaulting an 18-year-old man with a pair of pliers and forcing him to drink a cup of their own urine. They also allegedly beat him, threatened him with a belt, and—in a successful attempt to add insult to injury—threw his shoe in the toilet. Geez, was this a Casual Encounter gone wrong or a high school locker room?

But back to that whole pliers thing. According to the Leader-Telegram:

The man said the sisters later forced him to undress, saying one wanted to have sex with him. Bartkey reportedly pulled and twisted the man’s penis with pliers while Johnson threatened him with a belt. The man said, on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 the most pain he’d ever experienced, that the incident was 10. Johnson later ripped the man’s shirt to the point at which it would not stay on his body.

Of course, the story has some interesting parallels to Milwaukee’s infamous “satanic-werewolf-sex-stabbing” story, in which two young women tied up a man they had met online (natch), had sex with him for two days, and cut him repeatedly. It turned out there was nothing really “satanic” about that incident (a copy of the humorous The Werewolf’s Guide To Life was the closest link to the dark arts), though the media still had a field day with the sensational story. It remains to be seen what local news outlets will make of this story—though, in an industry dominated by men, it’s likely they’ll simply close their eyes, inhale sharply, and quietly move along.
