Madison punkabilly fans, avid Guitar Hero players, and those down for an awesome show should rejoice at the news of The Reverend Horton Heat’s return to the Majestic on Nov. 5 after more than a year away. The most prepared fans of Heat will begin their morning face-freezing regimen in the next week, lest their faces melt prematurely come show time.
Last time Heat came through Madison with veteran psychobilly hellians Nekromantix. This time, the appropriate banjo-fueled shredding of Split Lip Rayfield will be sharing the bill, whose fast-paced barn burning will be a satisfying complement to The Reverend’s swaggering bad-assery.
