Snoop Dogg at the Orpheum Theatre
Snoop Dogg plans to release his gazillionth album, Doggumentary Music, in March 2011. But, despite the thick cloud of pot smoke, he had the foresight to release first single, “New Year’s Eve,” right now. The track is a lively, synth-laden party jam that should still sound pretty good well past the titular holiday, when the D-O-Double Gizzle hits the Orpheum on Feb. 1. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 day of the show, and go on sale this Saturday, Dec. 4 at noon.
