Whether your ears tingle with delight or wriggle in disgust at the massive buzz created around certain bands, the best way to make up your own mind about the justification is to go check ’em out for yourselves. And next February, Madison will have a chance to get up close to two of the most-deafening-buzz generators (one very literally) when Tennis stirs up some delightful racket at the High Noon Saloon on Feb. 21 and the Smith Westerns eviscerate the crowd’s hearing at The Frequency on Feb. 25. Both bands have records due in January, and both are just begging to either be your new faves or the objects of backlash-related scorn. The choice is yours!
