The Dan Potacke Show celebrates its second anniversary on Feb. 24

“In my wildest fantasies, I only expected to have this show last for about two months,” said Dan Potacke in a recent press release, but his bi-weekly happy-hour variety show is coming up on two years at The Frequency. Potacke (whose real name is Alan Talaga) has planned accordingly to celebrate this milestone on Feb. 24.
Two of his favorites guests, Shane O’Neill of Screamin’ Cyn-Cyn And The Pons and Shane Shane, as well as writer-director Rob Matsushita, will be stopping by. O’Neill will share stories from his recent travels (which, if you’re friends with him on Facebook, you’ve seen a bit about) and Matsushita will talk about a pair of shows he’s currently writing for Broom Street Theater, including a play with the insta-rage igniting title of Hitler Was Right.
Stand-up Adam Waldron will also be on hand, and will hopefully take the edge off of the sad, sad farewell to the Wheel Of Fantasticness. But as one prop says goodbye, a new replacement, Son Of The Wheel Of Fantasticness Junior, steps in to fill the void.
