The Gaslight Anthem at the Majestic Theatre

Watching the summer end always sucks. It means going back to school or just more going to work as usual, except with shittier weather. So getting gassed up and listening to some massive rock anthems sounds like a good way to take the edge off. In case the video the Majestic posted on its Twitter about an hour ago didn’t give it away already, New Jersey’s The Gaslight Anthem will be coming to the Majestic Theatre on Sept. 19 (tickets are $20 and go on sale July 23). American Slang has been out long enough that there’s no excuse not to know all the words and scream along, just save some energy for singing along to the beloved The ’59 Sound. The only problem The A.V. Club can find with this is that the Springsteen-approved gritty punks picked the same night as Louis C.K. at the Overture Center. Decision time, Madison!
