The Queers might want your band to open for them at The Frequency

One lucky Madison band will soon be dipping into its group fund for some résumé building software: “Opened for The Queers” is too good to leave off your list of work experience. Before the venerable punk-rock offenders return to The Frequency on Dec. 10, its label, Asian Man Records, will be holding a contest to determine which local band will be sharing a bill with The Queers. The rules state that a band must submit a link to a video (live or "ghetto recording") of it playing a Ramones song to gabe@asianmanrecords.com, along with the city and date of the show it wants to open.
